Where the East met the West and fell in love, and why wouldn't you in a city like this. Hong Kong offers history, modernism, commerce, food and atmosphere. Make sure to span the new and old Hong Kong on your visit, you will love the sky top bars as much as the back street stalls.
Early evening cocktails and/or tea at the Mandarin Oriental Central, MO Bar are the best. I always order a Asian Mind, for an extra ginger kick ask for a bit more and the lobster rolls on the side. It’s a real treat.

It’s fairly expensive in relation to other tailors in HK but it really is worth it, their selection of cashmeres is next to none. They can ship things hope if your only there for enough time for the fittings.
Joyce is one of my favourite boutiques in the world, let along Hong Kong. The staff are super friendly and the buy is so fresh and contemporary. They also have really great sales. Check out their new shoe and bag department it’s stunning.
Milan Station is my guilty pleasure, this is the bag reseller in Hong Kong I believe you can trust, it’s publicly listed and assured by the government, also everything I have ever bought there I have had authenticated by the relating brand and it has always been real. Their prices do seem to increase for new bags, so aim for the lightly used pieces to get a bargain.
The Four Seasons is a great one stop shop in Hong Kong, from the tea to cocktails they have everything covered. The view of the harbour from the rooms is wonderful, you can watch it all day. I love the Blue Bar and breakfast in bed. Plus the walk through to IFCis awesome for all your shopping needs.
Go for a early evening stroll in Causeway bay, stop for roast pork and duck at the little shop next to the Milan Station, the Barley water is yummy. Pudding isn’t really a thing over there unless you want to queue for an hour so make sure to grab a yummy fresh fruit cup on one of the corners instead.
