Sometimes in the winter it’s just all too easy to fall into a rut of dark colours, and moody accessories. Studs and buckles decorate us all, while we wrap up from the cold. But it’s worth remembering that a little colour can add sparkle to your day. I love wearing more masculine tailoring like this with more feminine accessories. A little goes a long way, but soft pastel shades like these stunning pieces from Bucherer Fine Jewellery really catch your eye when they are layered and combined with classic tailoring.
I love how beautifully these bracelets layered up. I have worn a lot of this style of chain bracelet in my time but these were by far the most flattering on my wrist. I have small hands and wrists and often the wrong proportion bracelet can leave me looking odd or short armed. These were just the right size and proportion (note how small and delicate the chains are) to flatter my wrists. I also fell completely in love with the largest ring. I couldn’t help but think it would make a beautiful alternative engagement ring. So if any of you are sending hints, check this option out.
That said, I really think there is nothing more satisfying that working hard and buying your own pieces. I love that Bucherer has a history of empowering women to self-purchase their jewellery dreams. Despite having been around since 1888, Bucherer is super modern in its approach to fine jewellery. Understanding that you want to be able to wear their pieces everyday. The Peekaboo collection that I am wearing here has minimalist settings that show off the lovely pastel coloured gemstones. I particularly love how the stud and the drop earrings look so great together across multiple piercings.
