The Montage is a beautiful hotel group with locations across the states. The Montage Beverly Hills is a very special hotel. Not in the – new launch, super stylish, too cool for school – way a lot of hotels I visit are. But in fact, in the timeless way of damm good service. Unlike many ‘cool’ new hotels, the Montage just knows how to treat their customers. They are utterly charming, professional and helpful. I saw this more than ever when my flight was unexpectedly cancelled and they were so kind and helpful, trying to assist me and letting me stay on in my room till it was all sorted. Beyond this, the food is great. Breakfast on the roof terrace is delicious and a calm above the storm of the streets. The spa is so relaxing, I actually fell asleep after a mineral bath on a day bed! The hotel’s decor is classic Californian, a lot of cream marble and wood, it felt comforting and calm. Not to mention, the location is PERFECT! I don’t think there is a better located hotel in Beverly Hills.  Unlike so many places, you can actually walk to everything you might want in Beverly Hills and just take cars further a field. I really felt it was a home from home. Sometimes it’s the simpler things that are the hardest to get right and they just understand service at the Montage. I really hope to visit again because I cant think of a better base in LA.
