Walking in Hanoi

InspirationOn LocationOutfits
Despite a slight mistake with the weather in Hanoi, my trip was so much fun. After layering enough I was totally happy to walk around all day.  I love how each street sells something particular and nothing else. A whole road of tin work, then fabric, then flowers, then bamboo. Wonderful.  However crossing the road was a real challenge. You kind of just have to shut your eyes and walk, I read one guide which said, "step forth and watch as the sea of motorbikes part before you!" - I thought they were joking. They werent. Bravery is essential. The same guide also said is small print under the best street food stalls ... "Do not eat the herbs raw if you wish you prevent the whole world falling out of your bottom". Wise words.
