Running on time is never more important than on the day of a friends wedding. Almost all of my summer holidays are taken up with wedding, I suspect this is the case between the ages of 28 and 40. For most of us, summer holidays become synonymous with english summer weddings. In the city or in the country, covered in flowers and always running a touch late, just to be in good taste. One the loveliest summer weddings I have been to was in a garden in the city centre. It felt so magical and like we were all discovering this well kept urban secret. Often we will wear summer dresses to the service and then change for the reception. Most often into black tie.
