This recipe is a delicious lunch option. It can be thrown together on a busy day and will still be perfect.

A trilby to top it off

I don't think you can ever really go wrong with a classic colour combination like blue and white. In all the possible blue shades, white is a happy companion.  I love this bright blue for the summer, it's fun and lively, and always reminds me of a relaxed Stella McCartney vibe.  This Couronne bag is the perfect companion all year round, and it fits Thumbelina perfectly!  I love the colour, its not properly blue or grey so it works with black and blue outfits.

Sadaharu Aoki Patisserie

EatShop
There are what feels like a million Patisserie's in Paris.  All offering candy coloured jewels in the windows to tempt you in. After a few visits you realise the gap between the good and the average of these establishments is the size of the Seine.

Sadaharu Aoki

So I went forth to find a new and interesting Patisserie. Obviously I love Laduree and Pierre Herme, they are both experts and never let you down, but after all the instagrams and take away boxes we all know them well, so what else is there to find I wondered…

I found Sadaharu Aoki, born in Tokyo but trained both there and in Paris. He combines flavours in the wonderful east meets west way only a person who spans the two can. If your a fan of the matcha latte or sesame snap this is the place for you. I personally love his flavours and the textures are just as delightful. Not a sugary, bland item in sight, everything is crammed with flavour. He has catered to the fashion industry for a while, sending treats to delight Kenzo, Chanel, Dior, Yohji Yamamoto and Ungaro. So make sure to visit next time your in Paris!
