Adare Manor

DoEatStay

An Irish estate re-made.

When I first read about Adare Manor, I thought it sounded like the perfect weekend get away. I knew all the activities they offer would be right up my husbands street (he loves a holiday activity) and the hotel looked so luxurious and new. Then I read on that they have one of the only La Mer spa’s in the EU and I thought – sold.

Adare Manor did not disappoint. The hotel has been renovated to a beautifully modern and fictional standard, and they have taken huge amounts of care over the decoration and grounds which are all kept immaculately. The food and service is lovely, with an Irish charm while still being hugely efficient. The hotel offers it’s guests so much, that the staff all seem very proud to work there and share it with their guests. We loved exploring Adare and trying to fit in as much as possible! Although we came no where near doing everything they offer.

The hotel is new but has already found huge popularity with American tourists, who I imagine appreciate the modern cons, service and history. They do offer a large venue space which is very popular for weddings, opening out onto the grounds and water. They also hope to host major gold tournaments soon.

I really recommend a visit to Adare Manor if your’e looking for a luxurious break with a bit more to offer. We went in winter and it was lovely.

Food Delights

Food at the Adare Manor is an experience. They really have covered all bases, from lovely casual bistros (that feel like you could be in a fashionable urban location) to full gourmet excitements at the Oak Room. A lot of the produce is locally sourced or has an Irish heritage. Whether you are there to relax in The Tack Room whisky bar (where I had one of the best cocktails I have ever had) or spend time with the family at the Carriage House restaurant, you will be trilled with quality and service.

Outdoors Adventures

Adare Manor can arrange a huge array of activities and entertainments. From Clay Pigeon shooting with an Olympic teacher to horse riding through the countryside, fishing or playing golf. Just to name a few. They are incredibly helpful putting together an itinerary for you, if you have a list of things you want to do, from dinner and the cinema room to the spa and more. Just ask them to make suggestions if you’re not sure, or take one of their bikes and just explore yourself.

Thank you so much to Adare Manor for hosting us, arranging our amazing itinerary and gifting the experience. You can book yours here.
