My Marc Cain Tee

ArtArticlesCollaborationsLondonMy IllustrationsOutfits
I'm so excited to tell you guys about a t-shirt collaboration I have been working on.  I was asked by Marc Cain to design a T-shirt inspired by the theme "Paris to Tokyo".  I came up with this little robot. She's wearing a sequin beret and bow.  It's just launched in store and online and you can get it here!   Marc Cain were super nice though and gave me three shirts to give away to my readers.  So why don't we play best answer to win one!  All you have to do is give me your best idea for a new feature or change to my site.  Write it in a comment below and if I love it you win!

  2. Ohhh, and I forget to tell you a new idea. It’s a little hard, because I really love your blog and it style. Anyway, it would be great to see a new outfit pages, with all your outfits in little squares in one single piece, so we can have a whole view on your style.

Thank you for your idea. I have been looking into this already, but its a fab thought so even though you haven’t won a tee I will be in touch with another fun treat instead. xx

I wish the “most popular” box on the left-hand column on main page was divided into month, year, and all time. It’s such a functional little box yet doesn’t serve the purpose because it rarely changes.

Have you thought of adding more self-made video content? OOTD, DIY, recipes, and travel reviews, all of the content you are currently producing have a potential of attracting more audiences when produced in videos.. Also, I think you’ll benefit much from this website: http://microblogger.com/

    • Peony Lim says:

Justine, I love this idea and I’m trying to make it happen, I have been for sometime, but videos are a totally new kind of content for me and I care so much about the quality I will only do it when I know it can be as good as possible. So sadly you haven’t won as its no something new but thank you so much for your input. xx

  5. Congrats on the collaboration – the t-shirt is good fun!
Personally I love your website and think it’s so easy to navigate and find my favourite previous posts through the archive feature.
If there was a feature to add it would be to like your posts without having to write a comment just like instagram!(Double tap that heart). 😉

It would be great if we could just click on the clothe on your pictures and instantly get redirected to the item on the brand website and not having to scroll to the bottom of the page.
    😉

    Love from Paris.

Hi Peony, I’d love to see new series referring to 9-to-5 outfits, something apropriate in the work enviroment but with your signature Peony-twist. I- as many of your readers – work in a place with a dress code (quite casual though) and at the same time I hate all those boring corporate uniforms. You showed your lovely combos with vintage suits for example, I’d love to see something like that more often and maybe as the regular series.

Great design! Robots hold a soft place in my heart.
I would love to see day-to-night outfits. Ladies are always on the go nowadays and it would be wonderful to see how a few key pieces can form the foundation for transitioning across different settings.

Firstly how gorgeously striking is the orange suit – it works so well with your dark hair.
You often pinch the most gorgeous pieces from your Mother’s wardrobe & refer to her as your style influence, so my post suggestions would be about your Mother’s style – what is it that has influenced you over the years? What defines her style? What sense of style you have inherited from her & maybe a closet raid of your favourite pieces in your Mums closet – of course you can relate all of this to your own style.
Can you tell I really want one of those tees!!!! Not because of the Marc Cain association, but because of the clever design that’s come from you.
Congrats on a great collabortaion Peony
    Hugs xoxo

Hi, Peony. Love the tee. A very clever caricature to capture the essence of the theme!
New idea/feature: how about a weekly/fortnightly post on your favourite links plus why you love them?
Apart from you being a fashion inspiration to so many tens of thousands of people around the globe, it would be awesome to have a little more in-depth knowledge on what makes you tick as a person.

It would be great to see features on animals. You could create collars, jackets, jewellery and coats. Imagine the excitement this would cause.
