Backpacking
I wanted to share my latest post in collaboration with Selfridges all about this super cute backpack from Chloe.
I got totally converted to backpacks last summer. I never thought I would be into them, they somehow seemed too childish and naff in my head. I was totally wrong. I fell in love with one and ever since I’ve thought how practical and cute they are. It’s totally about finding the right one (some are still in the first category for me), but others, like this little Chloe Faye mini, are beyond cute. I love the colour of this one. The grey is just perfection (although it does force me to run for cover whenever a whiff of rain appears) and I love the top strap, meaning you can carry it as a handbag too. I havent had a Chloe bag for a while, I dont think I felt I was quite bohemian enough to pull off the aesthetic, but this one is different. It feels more urban and masculine with the chain detailing. I love the masculine hardware combined with the silkiness of the slip dress (which btw is the best fitting slip I have ever found). All the soft tones and variations of texture are just so delicious. There are so many designer backpacks are to choose from now. Sporty Prada ones to studded Valentino ones. The Chloe backpack is a great option for girls, like me, who are a bit nervous of them. It’s more like a hybrid of a bag and a backpack, so it will ease you in. I love wearing mine at the weekend and to more causal things in the summer like festivals. It means you keep your hands free to wave them in the air like just don’t care! lol. Or you know more normal stuff like drink or push a pram. I really think if you haven’t tried one before you will be sold.
