When I visit New York I always have a hit list of places that I have go to.  When I first went I relied on the wonderful and ever informative Luxe guides to tell me where to go. Then over time I found my own places to add.  This is my complete city guide for the concrete jungle.

Wolfgang's Steak House

Eat Steak at  WolfGang’s for an authentic over the top New York experience. I rolled home afterwards.

Tokyo Bay Sushi

Sushi at Tokyo Bay is great. Fresh, fast and small. I love the local atmosphere and calm dining experience is a port in the storm of the city.

The Odeon

Find classic diner food at The Odeon. Yummy classics in an authentic setting.

Shake Shack

For me the Burgers at Shake Shack are perfection and better in NYC than London (for no real reason). The meat melts in your mouth.

Pop Burger

Pop Burger only  makes sliders. They are super cute and a perfect stop off from shopping.

Bubby's

The best fried chicken and everything else I have ever had is at Bubby’s.

Papaya Dog

Hot Dogs at Papaya Dog (and Gray’s Papaya) are my idea of food heaven, however I have been know to enjoy several from the most clean looking street vendors

The Classic New York Shoe is only to be found at Manolo Blahnik. My great shoe love, this store has the best selection in the world and the most lovely shop assistants.

All your beauty needs will be met at Ricky’s. I go every trip to stock up on hard to find products.

The Greenwich Hotel

This hotel is so understated with amazing celebrity spottings. The Greenwich Hotel is a wonderful place to stay but also has great food so pop in for their american italian too.

Soho House Hotel and Club

Keep cool in the Sun at the ever famous Soho House Hotel and Club.

The Jane Hotel

Super Hipster Luxe at The Jane Hotel.

The Highline

Do something timeless and walk the Highline.

MOMA

One of the best international art collections can be found at the MOMA. Spend the morning educating yourself and then walk across the street to Manolo Blahnik to reward yourself afterwards.

The MET

Visit temple treasures through to society portraits and everything in between at The MET.

Central Park Zoo

Do a New York classic and visit the Central Park Zoo. I always visit the penguins and then eat a pretzel while I watch the sealions.
