I love walking down the Seine past all the bookstalls and tourist bits. It's an organised mess that romantically litters the riverside in a way only possible in Paris. Recently I have been craving reading more. I have just read two books I wasnt enamoured with, and now I'm returning to my discovery of Balzac which I can only learn from. I have just stared Cousin Pons (I really loved Cousin Bette the twin to this book) which I have high hopes for. What are your recommendations? I love reading classics, so if you have any recommendations for favourites I would love to hear them.

What a coincidence – I had similar sentiments last night. I realised how long it had been since I read a chapter of a book rather than scrolled through my Instagram feed before bed. I really want to get back into reading – I’m more of a crime fiction kind of girl though, that and some historical fiction!

    Happy Reading!

Love the Parisian look, the classic blue stripes are defiantly making me want to hop on a plane to Paris right now!

Loved the fact that you dressed up as a Parisienne for this occasion! So perfect. Gotta love a stroll along the Seine.. <3

I adore these photos. They capture Paris in such a beautiful way.

As for books, I’m two months into this year’s 50 Books Challenge and have mostly been reading non-fiction. For classics, I always recommend Jane Eyre and Far From the Madding Crowd. Perhaps you could read Proust’s Remembrance of Things Past series.
