The city short is a chic addition to any suit. Often if you choose a navy, grey or black fabric you can mix them in with existing suit jackets or blazers to make a whole new summer city suit.  They are smart and yet cool. Obviously I went for the major hat situation but you could tone the whole thing back a bit if you want.  Sometimes I will find outfit inspiration in Magazines, Films and Pinterest.

Some of my favourite movie fashion moments are… Sabrina, To Catch a Thief, Funny Face, Almost Famous, Anne Hall, SATC (everything obvi), The Notebook, Pearl Harbour, Atonement, The Rum Diary and How to Marry a Millionaire.  If you haven’t seen these movies already, get on it. They are all classics.
