Hydrangea Cake


This was my birthday cake this year.  It was based on a recipe from I am Baker.  It was so pretty and the cake was flavoured with Pandan which is my absolute favourite cake flavour.  So I had a very happy birthday!

    Kit – Thanks! I know it is the best flavour ever isnt it!

    milimi – Its similar to vanilla, but more fruity and light. It comes from leaves so it is less dense. It is the best thing. Good luck with your blog, I am sure you will really well with it. My only advice is to trust your own judgement and be brave.

    pandan is also one of my favorites! in the philippines, we have
    “pandan-monium”. pandan tea…pandan rice, pandan cookies, pandan cake, pandan candies, pandan this…pandan that…lol…we use it to enhance the flavor of pretty much everything. as i’m typing this i’m having pandan moment with pandan tea…seriously! xo
