I love a good phone cover, personally I find them to be both practical and decorative. After all I understand that half the world must have a blackberry and the other an iPhone, – and then that lucky high flying few have to have both, you know, work and home darling! My brother is one of them, lets hope he plans to keep me in shoes – lets not get into the debate over which is better… rather lets settle that both are much better with a bit of decoration. The reasons I think covers are so practical are because… a) they protect the phone, I drop mine alot, b) they make it easier to tell which is yours in a pub table situation, and c) if like me you like huge bags – yes retro but I am not an Olsen twin I promise – then it helps to find it in the bottomless pit. My old phone was an iPhone 3G and I had a cover made for it. It was a touch Paris Hilton of me, but since I never wear pink – well I mean once in a blue moon, never say never – I thought it was kitsch fun rather than tragic, and apparently the fabulous Mr Tommy Ton agreed, as last LFW he photographed me with it for Style.com – click HERE to see the original page.

Unfortunately since then, the phone is question died. So I moved on to my new iPhone 4, with new covers which I found in this fabulous tiny shop in Singapore…

Heres the old cover… the ‘Peony’ one photographed by Tommy Ton at the top, my new ones are the multi-pink and stunning blue/white one above.

Isn’t the one I got my mummy awesome too?!

In the first picture I got slightly distracted by your gold nail polish as I have been hunting high and low for some! May I ask where you got it from?

Also, is it a bit drastic for me to travel to Singapore just to get a case for my Blackberry? It’s just so lovely…

  2. *sunday* says:

@AmyHansford – yes that nail polish is divine!

Just discovered PRP! Love, love your style…seems you kill it every time! x’s and o’s, Roxy!

p.s. Saw your aspirations- I used to be in fashion buying but quit because of the heavy heavy focus on numbers and almost a non-existent one on the clothes, I guess it depends on the size of the company, but I imagine styling would be more fun..just sayin’ đŸ˜‰

  5. Great blog!…I say PRP and them found out you opened yours…the covers are wonderful I am totally hooked with the cover you got on singapore is beautiful…please stop by my blog anytime đŸ˜‰

@AmyHansford – not at all… although the original Tommy Ton photographed ‘Peony’ cover was from a great website…. http://www.crystalskins.co.uk/homepage.htm – give it ago they are lovely and do DIY kits.

@Sunday – the nail varnish is in fact Minx (http://www.minxnails.com/dnn/) you can search on their website and find their nearest salon. But… I will be doing a post on all my favourite nail art and varnishes etc… so stay posted and I will give all the tips and info on my nails.
